Welcome to the 2022 NECAFS Annual Conference and Meeting and the Northeast Produce Safety Regulator and Program Staff One-day Working Meeting. This Annual Meeting provides an opportunity for regional partners to connect and discuss current research, training, education and outreach trends and activities related to the FSMA Produce Safety Rule and the Preventive Controls for Human Food Rule. NECAFS is a collaboration that brings together the individuals working in food safety across the region with the goal to work together to address the needs of our producers and processors. Therefore, these meetings focus on facilitated discussion where everyone can share, identify common challenges, and articulate next steps to address those challenges through collaborative action.
